We had a productive and enlightening workshop of The Wondrous Adventures of Pia Sandia, where we experimented with potential mashups of puppets, projections, lights and music.

We spent a wonderful day on the Palos Verdes Bluffs kicking off our first-ever Walk-a-thon. We want to also give a shout out to everyone who participated virtually to help us reach our goal!

We workshopped June Carryl's Superhero play, Bug, with the "Leaders in Training" at Camp Bob Waldorf. These fabulous teens had lots of insightful things to say before jumping into character and sharing the play with their peers.

We spent another fantastic day at Camp Bob Waldorf incorporating music into a new streamlined script of The Wondrous Adventures of Pia Sandia. We loved sharing the day with the "Leaders in training," who joined our creative team and marvelous actors in dramaturgical discussions as equal participants.

We had a great time learning how to facilitate an arts education program called "Standing in a Character's Shoes: Deeper Meaning Through Monologues" which we'll be rolling out in the new year. Our thanks to Mary Hall Surface for trusting us with her creation!

We invited a ridiculously talented group of actors to participate in an informal reading of Bug so June could hear the new draft read by the pros. We learned a lot and had a great time, too.
